White's QKt deployment doubled his Q5P defence and supported P-K4, expecting 3..PxP or 3..P-Q3.
Black's K3(e6) Pawn almost always removes the forwarded pawn on Q4(d5) to threaten White's QBP and initiate a pawn exchange. B-Alt.
