The Exchange Variation
Black's pawn-supported QP advance freed his QB and attacked White's KP to contest centre control.
White's KPawn starts an exchange on Q5(d5), removing Black's QP for a line regarded as inferior to the positional 3.Kt-QB3 line but popular as usually leading to the Panov Attack. W-Alt.
