CARO-KANN DEFENCE - Knight Variation
Black developed his KKt to KB3(f6) attacking the White knight, rather than 4..Kt-Q2 or (usually) 4..B-B4.
White's K4(e4) Knight captures Black's knight on KB6(f6) with check, to induce doubled KBPs by 5..KPxKt (freeing the KB) or 5..KtPxKt (for a stronger centre but creating 3 pawn islands). W-Alt.
