Black's KP push resumed control of his Q4(d5) and freed his KB to pin a possible 3.Kt-QB3.
White sets his King's Knight's Pawn on KKt3(g3) so as to fianchetto his KB. An old opening system (named the Catalan by Tartakower after using a variation at the Barcelona tournament in 1929) in which White is the only player to fianchetto. W-Alt.
