The Cunningham Gambit
Black's King's Bishop moves to K2(e7), as first advocated by Cunningham in 1706 for a gambit 5..B-R5+ch. Cafferty & Hooper's "A Complete Defence to 1 e4" (1986) suggests this simple line as the best way for Black to equalise quickly. B-Alt.
