The Anti-Benoni Variation
White develops his King's Knight to KB3(f3) to deter 2..P-K4 while supporting 3.P-Q4. This popular line is often called the Anti-Benoni because it is used by White to avoid being drawn into the Benoni (a system where Black counters an early White P-Q4 with a ..P-QB4 challenge to force P-Q5). W-Alt.
