White's QP to Q3(d3) supported his KP anticipating 4..Kt-B3, and freed his QB to support Kt-KKt5.
Black develops his King's Knight to KB3(f6) to threaten White's KP (or sometimes plays 4..P-Q3 first), and enables castling to defend his KBP. B-Alt.
