THE HEINRICHSEN OPENING
aka. The Baltic / Dunst / Queen's Kt. Opg.

A flank opening advocated by Arved Heinrichsen (1876-1900) but often called the Baltic (because of his Lithuanian origins) or the "Queen's Knight Attack". Although "the best of the non-standard opening moves" (Benjamin and Schiller, Unorthodox Opgs.), its drawback is that Black can easily transpose into KP Openings. W-Alt.
