White varies the KGA (the usual continuation being 3.Kt-KB3), developing his King's Bishop early to K2(e2) to block 4..Q-K2+ch if 3..P-Q4, 4.KPxP. White avoids creating a bishop target but Black should not have trouble in retaining equality. W-Alt.
