The Classical Variation
White's KKt gambit (allowing a 3..P-KKt4 attack) stopped 3..Q-R5+ch and supported 4.P-Q4.., 5.BxBP.
Black wants to retain his doubled KBP (to avoid danger from a castled f-file rook) and so supports it with his KKtPawn (defended by his Q) - and he may dislodge the Kt by 4..P-Kt5 (for 5..Q-R5+ch). B-Alt.
