KING'S GAMBIT DECLINED
The Classical Defence
White advanced a gambit KBP to tempt White aside.
Black declines the gambit, developing his King's Bishop instead (planning a 3..Q-R5+ch assault on White's weak KB2/f2), and sets a simple trap - a stronger reply than the Falkbeer Counter (2..P-Q4), although in most tournaments Black accepts by 2..PxP for the greater defences available after.
