Black's KB pinned White's QKt to deter 4.P-K4.
White advances an obscure and dubious King's Pawn to K4(e4). It enables 4..KtxP, 5.Q-KKt4! but after 5..KtxKt Black gains a pawn. Described by Vernon Dilworth in a 1949 chess article. W-Alt.
