Black's QPawn out early to Q3(d6) to support ..P-K4 is seen less nowadays. It can be a way to enter the dynamic King's Indian Def. (avoiding the Samisch, qv.) but may lead to other set-ups with Black's KB set on K2(e7), the main characteristic of the "Old". B-Alt.
