White's KKt increased his QP defence and resumed control of Black's K4(e5) for a possible P-K5.
Black adopts the Pirc Deferred, pushing his Queen's Pawn a single square to counter any White P-K5 against Black's planned 4..Kt-KB3, and frees his QB. [Compare to Pirc's White developed QKt.]
