White posted his king's pawn on K3(e3) in support of his queen's pawn and also freed his KB, adopting the beginnings of a Colle System, a six-move opening structure reached by several routes.
Black completes his "Queen's Indian" fianchetto on QKt2(b7) and now dominates the long light diagonal.
