The Janowski Variation
White's QKt supported a planned eventual P-K4.
Black pushes his Queen's Rook's Pawn out to QR3(a6) to support 4..P-QKt4. An Irregular (ie. less common) defence compared to the Orthodox 3..Kt-KB3 or Tarrasch 3..P-QB4 for example. B-Alt.
