SANTASIERE'S FOLLY
White's Queen's Knight's Pawn advances to QKt4(b4) ready to attack any Black QKt move, in a rare but nevertheless accepted opening (the game Alekhine-Drewitt, Portsmouth 1923 is an early tournament example). Named after American A.E. Santasiere, a mid-20th century player who analysed the opening extensively. W-Alt.
