Black pushed a rare KKtPawn out to KKt3(g6) with a plan to target Q5(d4) by an accelerated fianchetto.
White advances his QBPawn to QB4(c4) instead of the usual 3.P-Q4, and avoids (or delays) the early central exchange seen in most lines. Compare to the Maroczy Bind in other lines. W-Alt.
