THE TAYLER OPENING
aka. The Inverted Hungarian Opening

White quits the Épine Dorsale to develop his (her) King's Bishop to K2(e2) so as to avoid the attacks that result from 3.B-Kt5 and 3.B-B4. This inverted Hungarian D. allows rapid castling and can have an advantage of surprise against textbook players, but is rare as other moves give more initiative. W-Alt.
