Black's king's bishop developed early to QB4(c5), threatening 3.P-KB4..BxKt to upset White's plans.
White adopts the Hamppe Variation, moving his Q-side Knight to QR4(a4) to attack and dislodge Black's dark bishop. W-Alt.
