<HTML PRIMER>

Introduction

All of the files + images in this Primer were created while I was studying HyperText Markup Language (HTML) in Sept.1996, and are based on examples or descriptions given in the book "HTML3 Manual of Style" (1995) by Larry Aronson (which I recommend reading). The files were written for practice rather than as a teaching guide, but they illustrate the basic principles of coding well. To access each topic, click on its underlined (coloured) reference-link.

Note: Although the screens look outdated (with only 16-color images), the information they carry is still relevant. I have now added "prev/next" links and extra (coloured) notes to some pages for interest. Pvh 4/98.
