White pushed his QPawn on to Q5(d5) in response to Black's QBP, usually planning 3.P-K4 in support.
Black develops his King's Knight to KB3(f6) to pressure White's QP and prevent 3.P-K4, adopting a direction that frequently transposes into a Modern Benoni variation. B-Alt.
