Black rarely advances his King's Bishop's Pawn to KB4(f5) hoping that if White accepts the gambit then Black may overrun the centre by 3..Kt-KB3, 4..P-Q4. First given by Polerio (c.1550-1610) but named after Greco's homeland. Now a dubious line. B-Alt.
