Black advanced a KBP gambit to KB4(f5) hoping to overrun the centre by 3.PxP..Kt-KB3, 4..P-Q4.
White declines Black's Calabrian KBP gambit and instead pushes his Queen's Pawn out to support his KP and free his QB, taking the Jaenisch line.
