The Dutch Bird Variation
White has opened by advancing his KBP to KB4(f4), inviting Black to take command of the centre.
Black usually advances his Queen's Pawn to the vacant centre, freeing his QB and taking control of White's K4(e4). The position is solid, but a reversed Dutch Defence for White with a move in hand, usually leading to Schlechter / Larsen lines. B-Alt.
