Black's KPawn challenged White's QP directly.
White declines the gambit (although 2.PxP was best to limit Black's initiatives) and transposes into a position seen more via the irregular (ie. rarely played) Saragossa Opening, pushing his Queen's Bishop's Pawn out to QB3(c3) to double his QP support and resist an open game. W-Alt.
