DUTCH DEFENCE - Staunton Gambit
The Kingston Defence (alt. route)

White's KP gambit has formed a strong centre.
Black declines the (usually accepted) Staunton Gambit, setting his King's Pawn to defend his KBP. This irregular (ie. rarely played) defence, arising more via the French (and thus called the Frutch at times), attracted new interest in the 1990s for its surprise value. B-Alt.
